House on Massachusetts peninsula was purchased while singer was dating Conor Kennedy
One of the mansions that singer Taylor Swift, 35, owned in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, United States, has been put up for sale for US$ 14.5 million, approximately R$ 83 million.
The house is located on the seafront on a 4,500 square meter lot and has 465 square meters of living space — with 60 meters of exclusive beach. Inside, there are eight bedrooms, all with ocean views, and seven bathrooms, as well as a heated pool, living rooms, dining room and three-car garage.
The property is located in Hyannis Port, a small residential village on Cape Cod, a peninsula in the state of Massachusetts.
According to the website InStyle, the mansion that belonged to Taylor Swift between 2012 and 2013 is just a few steps from the Kennedy Complex — an area with three houses where the political family lived for decades.
At the time she bought the land, the singer was dating Conor Kennedy, the great-nephew of John F. Kennedy, former president of the United States — who is currently engaged to Brazilian artist Giulia Be.

Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee, at age 14 to pursue a career in country music. During the same period, she signed a contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and in 2005 with Big Machine Records, which released her first two albums, the self-titled (2006) and Fearless (2008). The latter, certified diamond in the United States, was the first of all her subsequent albums to reach the top of the Billboard 200. Her subsequent releases, Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) each sold more than a million copies in their opening weeks in the United States, making Swift the first artist in history to achieve this feat.
