K-pop group released new album this Wednesday (14)
MONSTA X debuted in the music industry on May 14, 2015, with their first mini-album, “TRESPASS.”
The group has released numerous hits, including “DRAMARAMA,” “Shoot Out,” “Love Killa,” “Alligator,” and “GAMBLER,” forming a global fandom and becoming a representative of K-pop.
In 2018, MONSTA X became the first K-pop group to participate in the local year-end tour “Jingle Ball” organized by iHeartRadio, and they have participated in the tour three times through 2021, achieving an unprecedented career as a K-pop artist.
In addition, with their studio album, “ALL ABOUT LUV,” released in 2020, they entered the US Billboard 200 main album chart at number 5, and with their second English album, “THE DREAMING,” they demonstrated their solid global presence by remaining on the chart for two consecutive weeks.
On Tuesday (13), with Hyungwon’s return from the military, they ended their hiatus and reunited the full group.
On Wednesday (14), MONSTA X released the album “NOW PROJECT vol. 1” and held a live broadcast on YouTube to celebrate the anniversary.

Shownu: I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I owe it all to the members, Monbebe (the group’s fandom name), and many others who have always supported us to get this far. I still have a lot to learn and improve, but I sincerely thank everyone for believing in me and being with me. As a leader and artist, I will continue to walk hard, not forgetting my original intention and showing the best version of myself. I truly love you, Monbebe!
Minhyuk: In 2015, I greeted everyone for the first time as MONSTA X’s Minhyuk, and I am truly grateful and excited that I will still be able to greet you in 2025. Thanks to the members who laughed and cried with me, and Monbebe, who has always supported us by my side, I am who I am today. I will work hard with the members to repay them with an even better version of ourselves. I love you, Monbebe!
Kihyun: The fact that I’ve spent 10 years working under the name MONSTA X is all thanks to Monbebe. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the fans, as I know that it’s not something that can be ignored. I will do my best to repay the love we’ve received with wonderful music and performances alongside the members. MONSTA X is just getting started. I love you, Monbebe!
Hyungwon: Over the past 10 years, there have been so many happy moments that I’ve only been able to experience because I was “MONSTA X’s Hyungwon.” The overwhelming feelings I felt on stage, the countless journeys shared with the members, and most importantly, the memories with Monbebe, who was there for all of them. These are precious memories that I will never forget. I want to sincerely thank Monbebe for believing in and supporting us until now, and I hope to fill the future with even more memories and happiness. I love you, Monbebe!
Joohoney: It’s thanks to Monbebe that MONSTA X exists today. Ten years in someone’s life is definitely not a short time, and I’m so grateful to have shared that time with MONSTA X and me, Joohoney. I was able to smile thanks to Monbebe and I was able to dream even bigger on stage. I will strive to be a proud Joohoney of MONSTA X for Monbebe in the future. I truly love you, Monbebe!
IM: It still doesn’t feel real that we’ve reached our 10th anniversary. When I think back on the time I spent with my brothers under the name MONSTA X, I feel like every moment was made possible by Monbebe.
