BTS has been named the best group ever in a competition with over 150 groups
Even on hiatus since 2022, the boy group BTS was the most voted in the vote for the TOP 100 – GROUPS and elected the best group of all! Congratulations!
BTS was the winner of the TOP 100 – GROUPS with more than 97,000 votes. Second place went to the phenomenal Japanese boy group NUMBER_I, with 94,000 votes. In third place, the AHOF rookies arrived with everything with 43,000 votes, the new group is expected to debut in July of this year, coming soon!
In the rest of the TOP 10 GROUPS, we have the brilliant boys of ASTRO in fourth place with 43,000 votes, in fifth place the Filipino success SB19 with 37,000 votes. In sixth place the K-POP phenomenon STRAY KIDS with about 36,000 votes. In seventh place living up to their name we have the boys of GOT7 with 31,000 votes! The K-POP boy group EXO appears in eighth place with 27,000 votes. In ninth place we have another Japanese hit, IMP. with 25,000 votes, and to close our TOP 10 the boys of ENHYPEN with 24,000 votes, a close competition, right?

#1 BTS
BTS is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The group consists of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, who co-write and co-produce much of their material. Originally a hip hop group, they have expanded their musical style to incorporate a wide range of genres, while their lyrics have addressed themes such as mental health, the struggles of high school and adulthood, loss, the journey towards self-love, individualism, and the consequences of fame and recognition. Their discography and related works also reference literature, philosophy, and psychology, and include an alternate universe narrative.
As of 2023, BTS is the most successful musical act in South Korean history according to Circle Chart, with over 40 million albums sold. Their album Map of the Soul: 7 (2020) is the fourth best-selling album of all time in South Korea, as well as the first in the country to surpass the four and five million sales milestones. They are the first Asian and non-English-speaking act to sell out Wembley Stadium and the Rose Bowl (Love Yourself World Tour, 2019) and were named Global Artist of the Year for 2020 and 2021 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). The group’s achievements include multiple wins at the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and five Grammy Award nominations. In addition to their music, they have addressed three sessions of the United Nations General Assembly and partnered with UNICEF in 2017 to launch the Love Myself anti-violence campaign. Featured on the international cover of Time magazine as “Next Generation Leaders” and dubbed the “Princes of Pop”, BTS has also appeared on Time magazine’s lists of the 25 Most Influential People on the Internet (2017–2019) and the 100 Most Influential People in the World (2019), and in 2018 they became the youngest recipients of South Korea’s Order of Cultural Merit for their contributions to promoting Korean culture and language.

Number_i is a Japanese boy band associated with Tobe, formed in October 2023. The group consists of Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji, and Yuta Kishi. The three former members of Johnny & Associates’ King & Prince left the group on May 22, 2023. Hirano and Jinguji severed ties with the agency on the same day, while Kishi left on September 30, 2023.
On July 7, 2023, Hirano and Jinguji announced in a YouTube livestream their new affiliation with Tobe Co., Ltd., established by Hideaki Takizawa. Kishi’s announcement that he now belonged to Tobe Co., Ltd. was made in a YouTube livestream on October 15, 2023, and also included the news of Number_i’s formation.

AHOF is an upcoming nine-member boy group under F&F Entertainment. Formed through SBS’s Universe League, they are scheduled to debut in July 2025.
Their name is an abbreviation of All-Time Hall of Fame. The group’s name in Hangul means “Nine”.
