The group’s comeback is on the way

Get your lightsticks ready, Blinks! Global K-pop phenomenon BLACKPINK has just announced their long-awaited new world tour, dubbed “Deadline.” The news, released this Friday (16) by YG Entertainment on the group’s social media, quickly became one of the most talked about topics, rekindling the passion of fans around the world.

This series of shows marks the long-awaited reunion of Lisa, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo on stage after a hiatus of almost two years, during which the members dedicated themselves to highly successful solo projects. The anticipation to see the quartet in action again is immense among Blinks, who have been eagerly awaiting this moment.

The “BLACKPINK Deadline” tour will kick off in South Korea with two unmissable performances on July 5 and 6 in the city of Goyang. From there, the group will head to North America, bringing their infectious energy to major cities like Los Angeles and Chicago, as well as a stop in Canada. European fans can also rejoice, as the tour will include shows in France, Italy and Spain.

However, the news brought a hint of sadness to fans in South America, especially Brazilians. In this first batch of dates, Brazil is not included in the “Deadline” tour itinerary. It is worth remembering that, despite their enormous popularity and eight-year career, BLACKPINK has never performed on Brazilian soil. The group’s last tour, “BORN PINK”, which ended in September 2023 with more than 703 thousand tickets sold, demonstrated BLACKPINK’s global reach, leaving the hope of a future visit to Brazil even stronger among Blinks. The new “Deadline” tour promises to be another milestone in BLACKPINK’s trajectory, consolidating their place as one of the biggest names in world music and providing unforgettable moments for their fans.
