The BTS boys are coming back and the comeback promises to break the internet, but before that the group members had their solo releases with many songs and albums that won the hearts of their fans.

AGUST D – AGUST D
Agust D is the debut mixtape by the South Korean rapper of the same name, better known as Suga of BTS. It was released on August 15, 2016 by Big Hit Entertainment on SoundCloud.
AGUST D – D-2
D-2 is the second mixtape released by South Korean rapper Agust D, better known as Suga of BTS, following his eponymous debut mixtape released in 2016. The mixtape was released on May 22, 2020, through Big Hit Entertainment, along with the lead single “Daechwita”. The mixtape consists of ten tracks, with songs sung and rapped in both Korean and English. Its lyrics share the rapper’s viewpoint of the contemporary world.
AGUST D – D-DAY
D-Day is the debut studio album by South Korean rapper Agust D, also known as Suga of BTS. It was released on April 21, 2023, through Big Hit Music, as the third installment in a trilogy of works that includes the mixtapes Agust D (2016) and D-2 (2020). Comprising 10 tracks, the album features appearances by BTS bandmate J-Hope, IU, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Woosung of the Rose. Two singles were released in promotion of the project: “People Pt. 2” featuring IU on April 7, and “Haegeum”, which premiered alongside the album. Music videos accompanied both singles, with a third released for the track “Amygdala” on April 24.
J-HOPE – HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1
Hope on the Street Vol. 1 (stylized in all caps) is the first soundtrack and extended play by South Korean rapper J-Hope of BTS, released on March 29, 2024, by Big Hit Music. It contains six tracks and features appearances by his bandmate Jungkook, record producers Benny Blanco and Nile Rodgers, Huh Yunjin of Le Sserafim, and rappers Jinbo, Gaeko, and Yoon Mi-rae.
J-HOPE – JACK IN THE BOX
Jack in the Box is the debut studio album of South Korean rapper J-Hope of BTS, released on July 15, 2022, through Big Hit Music. It contains 10 tracks, including the lead single, “More”, which preceded it on July 1, and the follow-up single, “Arson”, which was released the same day as the album, together with an accompanying music video. A concept album revolving around the story of Pandora’s box, Jack in the Box discusses themes of passion, ambition, humanity, insecurity, success, and anxiety about the future. Primarily an old-school hip hop-influenced record, the album features a blend of genres, including pop, grunge, and R&B.
J-HOPE – HOPE WORLD
Hope World is the debut mixtape of South Korean rapper J-Hope of BTS. It was released on March 2, 2018 through label Big Hit Entertainment, along with the lead single “Daydream”. A second single titled “Airplane” was released a week later. The album’s peak at 38 on the Billboard 200 caused J-Hope to become the highest charting Korean soloist at the time of release.
JIMIN – FACE
Face is the debut studio album by South Korean singer Jimin of BTS. Released on March 24, 2023, through Big Hit Music, it is primarily a pop, hip hop, and R&B record, with Pdogg, Ghstloop, and Evan responsible for production. Comprising five songs, all co-written by Jimin, and one instrumental, the album was heavily inspired by the emotional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Jimin as a person and performer and addresses “themes of loneliness, wrestling with oneself, and finding freedom”. Two singles were released in support of Face: the lead single “Set Me Free Pt. 2” and the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one single “Like Crazy”.
JIMIN – MUSE
Muse is the second studio album by South Korean singer Jimin of BTS. It was released on July 19, 2024, through Big Hit Music and comprises seven songs, including “Closer Than This”, the pre-release single “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” featuring Loco, and the lead single “Who”. The album debuted at number two in South Korea and number three in Japan.
JIN – HAPPY
Happy is the debut extended play (EP) by South Korean singer Jin of BTS, released on November 15, 2024, through Big Hit Music. In 2022, Jin debuted as a solo artist with his song “The Astronaut”. Shortly after the song’s release, Jin enlisted for South Korea’s mandatory military service, serving until July 2024. Happy was announced on October 14, with Big Hit Music confirming that the album would contain six tracks, including pre-released single “I’ll Be There” and the title track “Running Wild”. The album contains collaborations with Gary Barlow of English pop group Take That, Wendy of Red Velvet, and Taka of Japanese rock band One Ok Rock.
JIN – ECHO
Echo is the second extended play (EP) by South Korean singer Jin of BTS, released on May 16, 2025, through Big Hit Music. Echo was announced on April 15, with Big Hit Music confirming that the album would contain seven tracks, including the lead single “Don’t Say You Love Me” on April 17. The album features a guest appearance from Yena on the track “Loser”.
JUNG KOOK – GOLDEN
Golden is the debut studio album by South Korean singer Jung Kook of BTS, released on November 3, 2023, through Big Hit Music. Primarily a pop record and an all English album, it was met with generally favorable reviews from critics. It features guest appearances by Jack Harlow, Major Lazer, Latto and DJ Snake. The album was supported by the pre-release singles “Seven” and “3D”, as well as “Standing Next to You”, which was released concurrently with the album, and “Yes or No”, which was sent to Italian radio in 2024. In July 2023, Jung Kook spoke to Variety about his first solo album, saying at the time that he was working on it but that it was too early to “mention anything specific”. That same month, he released the single “Seven” featuring American rapper Latto, which debuted atop the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 10 in numerous other countries. Jung Kook released another single, “3D” featuring American rapper Jack Harlow, on September 29.
RM – INDIGO
Indigo is the debut studio album by South Korean rapper RM of BTS, released on December 2, 2022, through Big Hit Music. The album marks the rapper’s first full-length body of work since Mono (2018) and serves as a documentation or archive of his late twenties. Comprising 10 tracks, it includes appearances by Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, Tablo of Epik High, Kim Sa-wol, Paul Blanco, Mahalia, Colde, Youjeen of Cherry Filter, and Park Ji-yoon. The ninth track, “Wild Flower”, a collaboration with Youjeen, was released alongside the album as its lead single, together with an accompanying music video.
RM – MONO
Mono (stylized as mono.) is the second mixtape by South Korean rapper RM of BTS. It was released on October 23, 2018, through Big Hit Entertainment. It features seven tracks and was accompanied by an animated music video for the final track, “Forever Rain”. RM has called Mono a playlist, while other publications have referred to it as a mixtape. It features songs sung and rapped in both Korean and English.
RM – RIGHT PLACE, WRONG PERSON
Right Place, Wrong Person is the second studio album by South Korean rapper RM of BTS, released on May 24, 2024, through Big Hit Music. The album follows his first solo album Indigo, released December 2022, and contains the single “Come Back to Me”, which peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Global 200, and features appearances by Little Simz, Domi and JD Beck, and Moses Sumney.
RM – RM
RM is the debut mixtape by South Korean rapper RM (then Rap Monster) of BTS. It was released on March 20, 2015, by Big Hit Entertainment on SoundCloud.
V – LAYOVER
Layover is the debut studio album by South Korean singer V of BTS. It was released on September 8, 2023, by Big Hit Music. The record has been described as a pop, R&B and jazz album “led by soulful tones of V’s voice”. Layover comprises six songs, including a piano version of the track “Slow Dancing”, all of which were accompanied by a music video. The videos for “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days” were released ahead of the album’s debut, while the video for “Slow Dancing” premiered alongside the album on September 13.

BTS has been named the best group ever in a competition with over 150 groups
Even on hiatus since 2022, the boy group BTS was the most voted in the vote for the TOP 100 – GROUPS and elected the best group of all! Congratulations! BTS was the winner of the TOP 100 – GROUPS with more than 97,000 votes. Second place went to the phenomenal Japanese boy group NUMBER_I, with 94,000 votes. In third place, the AHOF rookies arrived with everything with 43,000 votes, the new group is expected to debut in July of this year, coming soon!!
