Santos Bravos is a Latin American boy band from Mexico City, composed of five members: Alejandro Aramburú, Drew Venegas, Gabi Bermúdez, Kauê Penna, and Kenneth Lavíll. With members from Peru, the United States, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Mexico, Santos Bravos was formed by Hybe Latin America in 2025 through a reality show of the same name. They released their debut single, “0%”, on October 21, 2025, and their first EP, Dual, on March 13, 2026.

Santos Bravos was formed in 2025 by Hybe Latin America through a reality show of the same name, with the goal of creating a Latin pop boy band. The project brought together participants from Latin American countries and the United States, who went through a structured selection process that included vocal, dance, and performance evaluations, as well as group challenges designed to assess chemistry and versatility. Throughout the series, participants received training and mentorship under the direction of Hybe Latin America, following a development model similar to other idol survival programs. At the end of the competition, five members—Alejandro Aramburú, Drew Venegas, Gabi Bermúdez, Kauê Penna, and Kenneth Lavíll—were selected to form the final lineup, marking the launch of Hybe Latin America’s first idol group.

On October 21, 2025, Santos Bravos made its official debut during a concert at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, which also served as the final episode of the competition. During the event, the finalists presented a selection of songs developed throughout their training period, including covers and original material. The group then performed their debut single, “0%”, marking their first appearance as an official recording and performance group. The single “0%” was released on the day of the group’s debut, and its music video, filmed in Mexico City, was released on December 18th. Ha Yu-Mi of K-en News described the track as “a fast-paced Latin pop song with pulsating beats, striking bass lines, sophisticated electronic sounds, and an addictive chorus”.

On November 25th, a Brazilian Portuguese version of “0%” was released.

Let’s learn a little more about each member of SANTOS BRAVOS below:

Kenneth is the youngest member of SANTOS BRAVOS. Before joining the HYBE project, he had already worked as an actor, voice actor, and singer, with appearances on Mexican TV — including the program La Rosa de Guadalupe.
Kauê was the winner of the Brazilian edition of The Voice Kids Brasil in 2020. Before joining HYBE, he had already signed a contract with Universal Music Brasil and released his own music.
Gabi entered the Santos Bravos reality show later than the other participants. Born in Miami, he entered the competition after the first eliminations, bringing the pride of his Puerto Rican roots.
Alejandro became the first Peruvian to debut in a boy band produced by HYBE. He studied music at the Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California, and began his musical career at age 13.
Drew is the oldest member of SANTOS BRAVOS, born in the United States, with Mexican ancestry. When she entered the reality show, she didn’t speak fluent Spanish, but she stated that she wanted to represent the descendants of Latinos who didn’t have the opportunity to learn the language.
