The group has been divided since the fraud controversy behind the scenes of the “Soy Rebelde Tour”

Maite Perroni has lost count of the number of times she has had to publicly respond to the progress of RBD’s suspended projects. Recently, the artist was once again questioned by the Mexican press about the release of the promised documentary and DVD of one of the shows recorded in São Paulo in 2023. While explaining the situation, Maite laughed and emphasized: “There is no discussion, so there is no yes or no, it is simply there”.

The program “Venga la Alegría”, on TV Azteca, aired a recent interview with the artist in which she states that the two projects are not moving forward. Fans have been anxiously awaiting both since the end of the “Soy Rebelde Tour”, which ended in December 2023. There have been times when the public has been putting more pressure on the release, however, the wait is still ongoing.

“The documentary and the live [DVD] exist. They are two audiovisual projects that have been worked on since the beginning of the tour until its conclusion. These are projects that are there and we don’t know what will happen to them. We will have to wait to see what happens to these projects, but they exist. There is no discussion, so there is no yes or no, it is simply there,” Maite replied.

In March, during an interview with another Mexican TV show, the actress commented: “The live show is spectacular, it’s an incredible production. The documentary is more personal. These are beautiful projects that are ready and produced, but I don’t know when we’ll be able to share them with the public. It would be a shame if they weren’t released.”

Anahí talks about RBD’s documentary: “I haven’t heard of it yet”

Another chapter in RBD’s troubled history after the “Soy Rebelde Tour”. This time, it was Anahí who spoke about the documentary that was recorded during the tour that passed through Brazil in 2023. However, according to the voice of “Sálvame”, she doesn’t even know the film!

In a video circulating on the internet, Anahí was asked about the long-awaited RBD documentary. The answer, however, was frustrating for some fans: “What documentary? I don’t know it yet. […] Don’t be annoying with your questions,” she told the reporter.

Previously, Maite Perroni had already spoken about the subject and revealed that she would be sad if the documentary and the album “Live in São Paulo”, recorded by RBD during the “Soy Rebelde Tour”, were never released. At least she knows about both projects!

“They are very beautiful projects, and I don’t know when they will come to life to be shared with people. It would be a shame if they weren’t released”, said Maite in an interview with the Televisa channel in Mexico. According to her, the live recording of the show is “spectacular”.

In order for the projects to reach the public, the five remaining members of RBD – Anahí, Dulce María, Christian Chávez, Christopher von Uckermann and Maite Perroni – need to reach agreements. But the relationship between them is strained. Some are barely speaking to each other. The projects have been suspended indefinitely.
