In an interview, Lisa, a member of BLACKPINK, announced some spoilers about the new studio album of the YG girl group; check it out!
The long-awaited comeback is coming! With a world tour set to begin in July of this year, BLACKPINK is now preparing for the release of their fifth studio album, according to Lisa. The youngest member recently shared the current status of the album’s production during an interview with Vanity Fair (via Billboard Brasil).
The singer, who is currently promoting the launch of headphones in partnership with the Bose brand, shared with the magazine some information about the future of the group, whose last project was released in mid-2022, ‘BORN PINK’, which includes hits such as “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down”. According to the quartet’s maknae, the members were “in the studio for a few days.”
She also echoed her teammates’ sentiments when she said they were looking forward to going on tour and working together again, recalling how much they missed their fans.
“We’re all so excited to get back together and go on tour. We miss Blinks so much. We can’t wait to see you,” Lisa said. “You guys have to be patient. It’s coming soon, I promise. It’s about time.”
BLINKS will be able to see BLACKPINK return to the stage starting July 5th when the group kicks off their world tour in Seoul, South Korea, then heads to the US and Canada and ends, at least as far as the dates have been announced, at the historic British stadium, Wembley Stadium, in London, UK, on August 15th.

During BLACKPINK’s hiatus, members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa focused on their personal careers, whether in acting, like Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa, or establishing themselves as some of the most influential artists in the music industry today.
Jisoo focused on diving into K-dramas, starring in ‘Newtopia’, in addition to releasing her single album, ‘ME’, which includes the tracks ‘Flower’, a worldwide hit, and ‘All Eyes on Me’. Her latest work was released in February of this year, ‘AMORTAGE’, which has 4 songs. Rosé reached the top of the Billboard with the success of ‘APT.’, her partnership with Bruno Mars, in addition to the promotion of her first solo album, ‘rosie’.
Jennie became an entrepreneur when she opened her independent record label, ODDATELIER, which was a big step towards the creation of her debut full-length album, ‘Ruby’, which premiered on March 7th with 15 songs, featuring collaborations with great artists such as Dua Lipa, Doechii, Kali Uchis, among others.
Lisa is not far behind, with the release of several singles that went viral around the world such as ‘Rockstar’, ‘New Woman’, a collaboration with Rosalía, Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me), among other iconic tracks that make up ‘ALTER EGO’, the singer’s first full-length album.
