V, also known as BTS’ Kim Taehyung, has broken yet another record by recently surpassing 4.7 billion streams on his Spotify profile. Taehyung has become the third most-streamed K-pop solo artist on the popular platform. V’s most-streamed songs on Spotify include Winter Ahead (193, 199, 624), FRI(END)S (498, 306, 353), Love Me Again (1,045, 498, 099), Slow Dancing (496, 733, 401), and Christmas Tree (447, 189, 615). Previously, BTS’ Jungkook surpassed 7 million streams on May 10, becoming the most-streamed K-pop solo artist for 33 consecutive days (as of May 10).
Sharing the update on BTS V’s achievements, a fan page wrote on X: “#V has surpassed 4.7 BILLION streams on his Spotify profile, the 3rd most streamed Korean/K-Pop soloist on the platform!
Fans on social media have started to show their love and well wishes for the BTS star. One user said, “CONGRATULATIONS V, CONGRATULATIONS TAEHYUNG #4_7BillionForV.” Another wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS V.” Earlier, BTS’s V officially received his Spotify plaque for reaching 1 billion streams with his hit single “Love Me Again!”.
