BLACKPINK’s JENNIE was the big winner of the TOP 100 – FEMALE RAPPERS, a vote carried out by @TOP100KPOP on Twitter. Congratulations!

Jennie Kim was the big winner of the vote with 301,514 votes and won the award for best rapper, in second place was I-DLE’s SOYEON with 299,789 votes, and in third place was BLACKPINK’s LISA with 50,139 votes.

In the rest of the TOP 10 we have ASA from BABYMONSTER in fourth place with 33,618 votes, in fifth place we have ARIA from X:IN with 30,564 votes, in sixth place NOVA also from X:IN with 25,671 votes, in seventh place we have RUKA from BABYMONSTER with 16,612 votes, in eighth place we have YEJI from ITZY 15,045 votes, in ninth place we have CHIQUITA from BABYMONSTER with 13,989 votes, and in tenth place AHYEON from BABYMONSTER with 13,516 votes.

The TOP 100 – FEMALE RAPPERS voting process took place in four phases leading up to the grand finale. At each stage, the rappers with the most votes advanced to the next stage and reached the grand finale to compete for the Best Rapper trophy.

#1 JENNIE (BLACKPINK)

Jennie Kim is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress. Born and raised in South Korea, Jennie studied in New Zealand from the ages of 9 to 14 before returning to South Korea in 2010. She debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, formed by YG Entertainment, in August 2016. In 2023, she made her acting debut under the stage name Jennie Ruby Jane in the HBO television series The Idol.

#2 SOYEON (I-DLE)

Jeon So-yeon is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, music producer, dancer, and choreographer signed to Cube Entertainment since 2016. She is a member of the South Korean girl group I-DLE. She became popularly known for competing on the reality shows Produce 101 and Unpretty Rapstar 3. Soyeon is the first South Korean idol to write an entire mini-album for a girl group alone, according to the song credits on her group’s EP “I Trust,” released digitally on April 6, 2020, and physically on April 7, 2020, by Cube Entertainment. Jeon So-yeon is also part of two other virtual groups: K/DA, a K-pop girl group formed in 2018, and True Damage, a hip-hop group, both produced and operated by Riot Games and set in the League of Legends universe. The singer also released a solo album called “Windy,” her English name and alter ego. On this album, Soyeon recorded a song with Lee Young Ji and BIBI, titled “Is the Bad Number?”
