Puerto Rican singer will perform shows only in Central and South America, as well as Oceania, Asia and Europe to promote the album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos”
Brazilian fans went wild with the announcement of Bad Bunny’s show in São Paulo in 2026, but the joy was not shared by those living in the United States.
The Puerto Rican singer revealed the dates of the “world tour” of Debí Tirar Más Fotos (2025), his most recent and highly acclaimed album, without any shows in North America.
The tour will kick off in the Dominican Republic in November of this year, and will continue until February 2026 with nine more shows in Central and South America, including countries such as Costa Rica, Argentina and Chile, as well as Brazil.
The singer will also play in Australia and Japan before heading off for 13 more shows in Europe between May and July, including “less obvious” countries such as Poland, Belgium and Sweden.
On social media, many people are praising Bad Bunny’s attitude and praising this more political phase of his work. This is because Debí Tirar Más Fotos addresses issues such as the occupation of Puerto Rico by the United States, which has lasted more than 100 years.
In this post by influencer Jarred Jermaine, many fans are saying that North American artists have spent decades doing exactly the same thing: announcing “world tours” without including South America, for example.
An Australian who goes by the handle @marzishy celebrated the opportunity to see him in her country, and said that they usually feel “isolated from the world” culturally:
“Just imagine, making the whole trip to Australia and skipping the United States! We usually feel very isolated here, I’m happy to have been included this time.”
Even without the chance to see Bad Bunny’s new tour, the American @caljamonit considers the singer’s decision to be correct, especially after listening to the guy’s album:
“I loved it!!! The US doesn’t deserve anything coming from Puerto Rico, now that I know what they did.”
But of course there are also those who are envious, saying that the United States is tired of seeing the Puerto Rican singer there, and that the rest of the world can “have him” now. Okay, lucky us!
It’s important to mention that Bad Bunny performed a surprise show on the New York subway in January, as part of the album launch on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.
After that, he performed once more in New York, once in Washington and once in Los Angeles. It seems that he has had enough of the US now, but some people have raised an important point: will the tour in the US be announced later?
We’ll just have to wait and see, but for now we can celebrate this victory!
