Bad Bunny’s “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” is the best-selling album of the week in the United States for the fourth time.

With a major tour announced, Bad Bunny is experiencing a remarkable moment in his career. The reggaeton star has broken a historic vinyl sales record in the United States. “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” sold 48,000 copies in one week, becoming the best-selling Latin album in a single week in the United States since 1991 (when Luminate began recording numbers for Billboard).
The previous record was held by Kali Uchis’ “Orquídeas,” which sold 20,000 copies in one week in January 2024. It is worth mentioning that Bad Bunny’s vinyl was sold exclusively through the singer’s official website for $29.98. The delivery of the product to buyers took the album back to the top of the Billboard 200, the chart in the United States.
“DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” completed four weeks at the top of the ranking. With 48,000 copies, this is also the Latin music album that managed to sell the most copies in one week since Santana’s “África Speaks,” with 57,000 copies in 2019. At the time, Santana sold the album along with tickets for his tour, which today no longer applies to the Billboard charts.
Billboard highlights that this is a historic week for Latin music on the album chart. In addition to “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” in first place, “111XPANTIA” by the duo Fuerza Regida is in second place. This is the first time in the 69 years of the chart that the first and second places have been occupied by albums in Spanish.
Bad Bunny is the only artist with 2 solo songs in the global Top 10
Bad Bunny is the moment and you should take more photos! In addition to selling out tickets for a show at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, the Latin music star has simultaneously placed two songs in the Top 10 of Spotify’s global chart. The only other artist with two tracks in the Top 10 is Bruno Mars, with the hits “Die With a Smile” and “APT.”
Bad Bunny’s case may be even more impressive because they are both solo songs. “DtMF” reached Spotify’s Top 10 shortly after the announcement of its world tour and is currently ranked 5th. “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” entered the Top 10 in the update on Friday (9/5), jumping five steps and taking 8th place.
