The Weeknd reveals new scene from ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’
Last Wednesday (7), The Weeknd revealed a never-before-seen scene on Instagram from his upcoming film Hurry Up Tomorrow.
According to Billboard, fans can unlock the secret scene he posted on the social network’s Reels with a password.
The clip shows the singer receiving a diagnosis of voice loss, which happened at the beginning of his second show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, in September 2022. In the film, he discovers that the loss of his voice was not due to a physical injury, but to a psychological condition.
It’s worth noting that the film opens in theaters on May 16. Directed by Trey Edward Shults and co-written and co-produced by The Weeknd, Hurry Up Tomorrow follows a fictionalized version of the singer, who is “plagued by insomnia” and becomes involved in an “odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the essence of his existence,” according to the synopsis. The Weeknd, who stars in the film alongside Jenny Ortega and Barry Keoghan, also composed the film’s soundtrack with Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never.
